3. What is UPF 50?
UPF 50 means your swimwear blocks 98% of harmful UVA and UVB rays. Every piece in our collection is made from UPF 50 fabric, so you’re covered when the sun’s out.
4. What is Deadstock Fabric and Why is it Sustainable?
Deadstock fabrics are leftover materials from other fashion brands or mills. By giving them a second life, we reduce textile waste and make the most of what’s already here.
5. Can I Exchange for a Different Size?
Yes! We offer free size exchanges within 30 days of delivery. Just reach out, and we’ll make it right.
6. What’s Your Repair Policy?
Every HT Swim piece comes with a 1-year repair guarantee. If straps or waistbands wear out early, send it back—we’ll fix it up so it’s ready for more adventures.
7. How Should I Care for My Swimwear?
Rinse in cold water immediately after swimming, when you get home hand wash gently. Skip the dryer and wringing to help your swimwear last. To extend the life of your swimwear even further, consider using a chlorine removing swimsuit wash solution.

Yes! Free returns are available within 30 days—we cover return shipping to make it easy on you.

11. Where is HT Swim made?
All of our Fleece and Day Trip Swim pieces are designed, cut, and sewn in Oregon. Many fabrics come from a beloved local swimwear brand— supporting our community and reducing waste.
12. What are “Perfectly Imperfects”?
Perfectly Imperfects are styles with minor flaws—like a skipped elastic or slight stitching irregularity—that don’t affect wearability or longevity. They’re fully functional, built to last, and offered at a sweet discount.
13. What are your shipping policies?
We are based in Portland Oregon. Our hand made pieces are shipped from our home location and shipping costs vary. We charge a flat $8 shipping fee for all U.S. orders and a $25 flat rate for all non U.S. orders. If you’re local to Portland, you can opt for “Pick Up” at no charge to you. We are happy to cover the cost of your returns or swaps, just reach out and we will refund you the shipping fee you paid, as well as cover the cost of the shipping fee to get the garment back to you.
